Ingredients

Wheat Flour 1 cup

Gram Flour 1 cup

Turmeric powder 1/4 tbsp

Salt (as per taste) 1/4 tbsp

Fenugreek leaves(kasoori methi) 1 tbsp

Carom seeds(ajwain) 1/4 tbsp

Asafoetida (hing) 1–2 pinch

Oil for kneeding daugh ghee for greesing roti

How to make Missi roti

Firstly knead daughh for making missi roti. Mix gram flour in wheat flour. Add salt (we can also used channa flour instead of gram flour).

Also add fenugreek leaves, carom seeds, turmeric powder, asafoetida and 2 tbsp of oil mix all ingredients nicely.

We require half the amount water the flour. So take 1 cup of water. Add little water at a time and knead daugh. Dugh is ready. Keep it aside for 15 to 20 minutes. So that it gets set. Take little amount of daugh (lemon size) and role it.

Dust the ball with dry flour. Role into 5–6 inch diameter roti. Place the roti on pre heated tawa. Like wise make second roti. Flipe the side when its colour changes from the tap. we make more use of dry flour will making missi roti.

It is roasted from the other side as well. Now roast it on flame directly. Roast the roti until it gets dark spots on both sides. Grease the roti with ghee. Serve it directly or place it on a bowl, casserole or napkine paper. Missi roti is very delicious and digestive too
